Taang Week - Ring

Toph's POV

I was walking around in this one shop, when I noticed Aang and Katara were around the jewelry section. I walked over without making a sound, but Aang noticed me and immediately blushed. "What are you doing here, Toph?" Aang said in a nervous voice.  "Just wondering what you were doing in the jewelry section." I said. He hesitated.
"Uhm…. I'm just helping Katara find a good pair of earrings for her date with Zuko!"
"You're lying"
"No I'm not!" He yelled then blushed even more. "I have to go." Then Aang left without saying anything else.

That night I thought about what Aang was could be doing with jewelry.
Cross-dressing? (lolololololololololol)
Gifts to another girl?
Gifts to me?


Next day…


"I'm sorry for snapping at you, Toph." Aang said. "Its okay, Twinkles." I said in a quiet but understandable voice. "So, Aang, what were you doing in the jewelry section?" I asked. "Getting ready to something tonight." Then he walked off with Katara following him.

I went to the shop to see if Aang and Katara were there. When I opened the door I could already hear them talking. I ran behind a shelf and spied.
"So you're sure she would like this ring?" Katara asked.
"Very." Aang said. They purchased the ring and left. I stood there confused and speechless. I ran outside and caught up to them. "Hey, what's that you're holding Aang?" I asked. Aang and Katara flinched. "Uh... Nothing!" Aang said uneasily. Aang ran off, but Katara went the other way. So I decided not to run after them.

The sun was beginning to set so I went back to our camp. Aang was there and he saw me. He ran over to me, grinning like crazy. He got onto his knees and held out a box. He opened the box which held a ring then said , " Toph Bei Fong… Will you marry me?" I let out a tear of happiness. "Yes, Twinkles." I whispered.
